The first District 84 Fall Conference was November 7, 8 and 9, 2008 in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Toastmasters came from all over Central and North Florida and even the International Director of our Region 8. Attendance was high, energy was great, the contests were fabulous and everyone had a wonderful time.Friday evening hosted the Opening Ceremony & Evaluation Contest. Members who achieved
communication and leadership awards received ribbons. The 2003 World Champion, Jim Key, gave the keynote address. The Evaluation Contest had eight contestants representing all divisions and Peter Gordon emerged the winner.
