Tim G Places In Division D Humorous Speech Contest
The Division D Humorous Speech competition on Saturday October 11, 2008 was very entertaining. The Articulators were represented proudly by Tim G taking second place with his "I'm Not Funny" presentation.
Awards were presented by District 84's Lieutenant Governor Education & Training, Ron and Lieutenant Governor Marketing, Scott.
The contest was well attended by the five Areas that make up Division D. Articulators members Mike S, Denny, Denise W, and Roxie came out to support and enjoy the event along with Tim G's wife Michelle and his niece. It turns out that Tim IS funny!

Come To The Division D Contest
Saturday October 11, 2008 at the Bush Auditorium at Rollins College in Winter Park, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, is the next Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest.Our Area 42 representative in the Humorous Speech Contest is Tim G of Club 6193 (alternate Les of Club 8945), and in the Evaluation Contest, Ralph of Club 9958 (alternate Jim E of Club 8945).
Come and support Tim G, be entertained by great humor, learn from excellent evaluations, and have fun. See you there!

Articulators Excel at Area 42 Contests
Area 42 Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests 2008 went well for Articulators' club 6193. In the Humorous Speech Contest - Tim G (Articulators) won 1st place, and Les (Orators) won 2nd place. In the Evaluation Contest - Ralph (Facilitators) won 1st place, and Roxie (Articulators) won 2nd place.
1st place winners and 2nd place winners (alternates) should plan on attending the Division D competition on Saturday October 11th, 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Rollins College, Bush Auditorium. Everyone is welcome to attend. You will hear excellent evaluations and very entertaining speeches.

Articulators Club Social at Tim & Michelle G's
Saturday night, September 13, was our third Articulators club social event. The evening was hosted by Tim G & Michelle G. The weather was perfect, the 'pot-luck' offerings were fabulous, and the company was delightful.
Merry-makers included Roxie, Irene & Frank who brought former club visitor Heidi, Michelle D & Paul, Dori & Mary Anne, Mike S, Oksana, and Irina. Thanks to everyone for attending and bringing their edible offerings.
Let's plan another social event not too soon and not too far into the future. Our sincere gratitude to Tim G & Michelle G for inviting us into their beautiful home, sharing their warm hospitality, and their very fun billiards room.
